Account and purchase data

Sign-in is provided through ChatGPT. HouseKeys receives an account identifier and email address. The identifier links your purchase and access. Our database stores order identifiers, Stripe customer and subscription identifiers, checkout and payment references, subscription status, paid access end dates, cancellation status, creation time and the terms version accepted. Card details are entered with Stripe and are not stored by HouseKeys.

Your chord progressions

Generation runs in your browser. For downloads, chord notes are sent to our server to create the MIDI file and check your account allowance. Notes and MIDI files are not retained. We store an export request identifier, a file hash and a timestamp against your account for the three-file allowance and safe retries. Preference ratings and analysis history stay in browser storage. Clearing browser data removes them. HouseKeys does not upload your generated chords to train a model.

Usage monitoring

We record first sign-in and last activity times alongside your account email. Basic action counts cover demo views and plays, generated progressions, bar changes, previews and MIDI export requests. Signed-in activity is linked to your account; anonymous demo activity has no persistent visitor identifier. These records help the owner monitor product usage and customer access. We do not collect chord notes, MIDI contents or device fingerprints for this dashboard.

How data is used

Account and order data are used to supply access, verify payments, handle refunds and resolve support requests. Service providers include the OpenAI Sites hosting platform, its Cloudflare infrastructure and Stripe for payments. These providers may process data internationally under their applicable arrangements.

Storage and your choices

Purchase records are retained as needed to deliver access, resolve disputes and meet applicable record-keeping obligations. Contact the seller to request access, correction or deletion of personal data. Some payment records may need to be retained. You can clear local preference history in your browser settings.
